Commissioned by the BBC for the programme "A Triple Celebration" from No. 1 Hangar, RAF Scampton. Music associated with the 50th Anniversary of the Lancaster Bomber, the 48th Anniversary of the Dam Busters Raid and the naming of the British Airways new 747-400 Series Jumbo Jet "The City of Lincoln".

First performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra and The Central Band of the RAF.
